Biliyorsun, benim de içinde bulunduğum ve dünyanın dört bir yanından gelen, 20'si TÜBİTAK UEKAE çalışanı, 110 kadar geliştirici ve yüzlerce katkıcı, hep birlikte, yaklaşık 2004'ten bu yana Pardus'u geliştiriyoruz. Türkiye'nin en büyük yazılım projesi olan Pardus, dört yıl gibi kısa bir sürede, global pazarda sesini duyuran, sadece Türkiye'de 150 bin sistemde kullanılan bir ürün haline geldi.

Peki, nereye gidiyoruz?

IDC'nin rakamlarına göre, global özgür yazılım pazarı 2001 yılında 5,8 milyar dolara ulaşacak. Özgür yazılım pazarının henüz 2006 yılındaki büyüklüğünün 1,8 milyar dolarlık bir büyüklüğe sahip olduğunu bilmek, bu pazarın nasıl bir hızla büyüdüğünü göstermesi açısından son derece ilginç.

IBM, Sun Microsystems, Novell, Nokia, Google gibi yazılım devlerinin yatırımlarıyla giderek büyük bir hızla büyüyen özgür yazılım pazarı, Türkiye'de de hareketli günler yaşıyor. TÜBİTAK UEKAE'nin öncülüğünde geliştirilen Pardus, geçtiğimiz hafta Göç Ortağı programını duyurdu, 2009-2011 döneminde global pazarın önemli oyuncularına özel ürünler geliştirmek üzere görüşmelerde olduğunu açıkladı.

Bu noktada, bir blog sahibi olarak, senin de ilgini çekeceğini düşündüğüm bazı sorularla karşı karşıyayız:

Türk özgür yazılımcıları nasıl para kazanacağını biliyor mu?
Özgür yazılımı geliştirme sürecinin önemli ayaklarından biri topluluk yönetimi (community management). Türkiye'de topluluk yönetimi ne kadar biliniyor?

Bu nedenle, özgür yazılım pazarlaması ve topluluk yönetim süreçlerinde çok önemli bir isim olan Sandro Groganz'ı Türkiye'ye getirdik.

Sandro Groganz, vereceği seminerde bu stratejinin gelişiminde nelere dikkat edilmesi gerektiğini, müşterilerin bir özgür yazılım projesine katkı veren insanlara nasıl dönüştürüleceğini örnekleriyle birlikte anlatacak ve özgür yazılımın pazarlamaya gereksinim duyup duymadığı sorusuna da cevap arayacak.

TÜBİTAK UEKAE ve IBM-Bilgi CAS işbirliği ile yapılacak olan seminer, 27 Kasım 2008 Perşembe günü saat 13:00'da Bilgi Üniversitesi Dolapdere Kampüsü'nde yapılacak.

Bu güzel etkinlik için ekte bir haber bültenimiz ve bir de görsel var. Blogunda yer verebilirsen çok sevinirim.

kriz ortamında öne çıkabilecek 8 iş modeli ile ilgili

Bence bahsettigin is modeli bir utility sitesi ve para kazandirma potansiyeli az. Lunajet, bileti kendisi sattigi icin para kazaniyor. Araba gibi kolayda ulasim araclarinda gelir yaratmak biraz zor geldi (tabi yeniliklerle yorumum gecersiz hale getirilebilir)

cok proje konusuna gelince bence sorun degil. bende de o sorun var. Ama bir karar verdim, sadece insanlarin finansal kararlarini kolaylastiran projelere ve yeni pazarlama mecrasi yaratan projelere ben kisisel zaman yatirimi yapiyorum. Kendi guclu yonlerime karar verdim, bu alanlarin disindaki projelerle ilgilenmemeye karar verdim. Sen de kendine guclu oldugun bir ihtiyac veya bir alan secebilirsin, o ihtiyac icin farkli is modelleri gelistirebilirsin. Boylece odagini korursun ve daha iyi fikirler bulursun. Tum cabalarin da ustuste birikir ilerde isini kolaylastirir.

Marketallica'yı uzun zamandır takip ediyorum. Kısa sürelik aradan sonra yeni yüzü güzel olmuş. Tebrikler. İnternet bize bilgisini cömertçe paylaşan insanlara ulşama imkanı sağlıyor. Bence en güzel yanı bu.

Kriz ortamında öne çıkabilecek işlerle ilgili yazınızı okudum. Lunajet olayı dikkatimi çekti.

springwise.com sürekli incelediğim bir site zaten. Acaba batılılar neler yapıyorlar diye.

Lunajet'teki iş modeline benzer bir fikri hep sorgulardım.

Sizce üzerinde çalışılabilir bir fikir mi? Ama benim gözümde o kadar büyüyor ki bu. İş planı hazırlamak bile büyük mesele benim için. Büyük mesele ama beni korkutmuyor tabii. Bu yüzden sizden gelecek cevaplar benim çin çok önemli.

Bir soru daha; kafamda o kadar çok proje dolanıyor ki. Aman Tanrım. Hiçbirinin kuyruğu birbirine değmiyor. Aynı telden çalan birisiyle tanıştığımda 5 dk. sonra kendimizi projelerin içerisinde buluyorum. Sizce bu bir hastalık mı? Ama hepsine karşı bir maymun iştahlılığım yok. En yapılabir olanı tespit etmeye ve en optimum kararı vermeye çalışıyorum. Acele etmiyorum.

İş planında neleri kapsaman gerektiği konusunda aşağıdaki linkler sana yardımcı olacaktır. İş planının belli bir şablona uyması gerekkmiyor. temel olarak ne yapacaksın? Neden çok iyi yapıcaksın? Nasıl yapacaksın? nelere ihtiyacın var? gibi basit soruları cevaplaman gerekiyor.

Last weekend, I and two other Kaboodle team members had the pleasure of attending the Renegade Craft Fair in San Francisco. It was wonderful. We got to check out in person a bunch of stuff we'd seen and loved on Kaboodle.
